This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how Registry Software Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information in connection with your use of the CareLink mobile application ("App"), CareLink platform, and optional SMS notifications.
Information We Collect
We collect two types of information through the App and CareLink platform:
- Personal Information: This is information that can be used to identify you as an individual. We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and username (if applicable). We only collect this information if you choose to provide it to us. If you enroll in SMS notifications, we also collect your mobile phone number and notification preferences and process information about your consent and opt-out requests, as described below.
- Non-Personal Information: This is information that does not identify you as an individual. We may collect non-personal information such as your device type, operating system, usage data, and browsing history within the App. This information is collected automatically by the App.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve the App and its features.
- Personalize your experience with the App.
- Respond to your inquiries and requests.
- Send you informational emails or notifications (with your consent).
- Analyze how the App is used.
- Deliver optional SMS notifications you request and manage your messaging preferences.
Sharing Your Information
We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate the App and improve our services. These service providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and secure.
We will not share your personal information with any third-party for marketing purposes without your consent. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data and consent are subject to the stricter restrictions in the SMS section below, which override this general provision.
SMS Notifications and Mobile Information
Registry Software Inc., the operator of CareLink, offers optional SMS notifications to caregivers about their CareLink accounts. These notifications may include alerts about new in-app messages, scheduled visits, visit activity, and pay statement availability.
When you enroll in SMS notifications, we collect your mobile phone number and SMS notification preferences and process information about your consent and opt-out requests. We use this information to deliver the notifications you request and manage your messaging preferences.
We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number, mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold, transferred, or shared with third parties for their own use. We may disclose information to service providers that help deliver and operate our text messaging service, solely as necessary to provide that service on our behalf.
These restrictions apply notwithstanding any other sharing provisions in this Privacy Policy.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity, care schedule, and selected notification preferences. Message and data rates may apply.

SMS participation is optional. You may opt out by replying STOP to a CareLink text message or by disabling SMS notifications in your profile’s Notifications settings. You may receive a final message confirming your opt-out.

Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of your information.
Your Choices
You can choose to opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in the emails.
You may separately opt out of SMS notifications by replying STOP or disabling SMS notifications in your profile’s Notifications settings.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Policy on this page.
